2014-2015
Founded

In November 2014, DoraHacks was founded at Tsinghua University as the first hacker community in China. In 2015, DoraHacks had a community of 2000+ hackers and hosted more than 50 hackathons in Beijing and Shanghai.

2016-2017
The Largest Hacker Community in China

DoraHacks became the largest hacker community in China. During these two years, DoraHacks established a model to provide technical solutions to enterprises by moderating hackers from communities.

By end of 2017, DoraHacks had more than 30 enterprise partners, 100 community partners, and organized more than 100 hackathons in China.

DoraHacks had become one of the largest hacker communities and the most active hackathon organizers globally. In the year 2018, DoraHacks built communities in 15 cities from 8 countries – United States, China, India, Japan, Korea, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany.

By December 2018, DoraHacks' campaign reached out to ~300,000 hackers around the world, and more than 15,000 participated in DoraHacks Global Hackathons. DoraHacks now has more than 400 community partners and 150 enterprise partners.
